The United States Embassy in Ghana, Accra says it has postponed some scheduled visa appointments to contain the spread of the Novel Coronavirus pandemic.
The Embassy says the Scheduled Visa Appointment By U.S Embassy Ghana postponement is as a results of the current conditions regarding COVID-19 case count in Ghana.
The notice sighted by our outfit urges the public to understand that these decisions are not taken lightly and it is their sincere hope that they can resume routine operations as soon as conditions allow.
“In the meantime, we will continue to operate with the greatest consideration for the health of our staff and applicants , and we ask for patience and understanding”, the notice stated.
The Embassy made it known on Monday, February 8, 2021 on their Twitter handle.

Ghana has so far recorded active cases of 6,707 with recovery cases of 65,149 while the confirmed cases stands at 72,328.
