Supplementary Exams To Be Conducted For Teachers Who Miss 2021 Promotion Test

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has stated that supplementary examination will be conducted for its staff who happen to miss the 2021 Promotion test.

Although a specific date has not been set yet, the Director-General of GES; Prof. Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa has assured teachers that the supplementary exam will take place in a week or two.

This decision by the management of Ghana Education Service is as a result of some challenges encountered in the ongoing promotion examination test.

In some situations, teachers were not able to acquire their Index Number as well as other relevant details that is required for them to participate in the examination.

Speaking in an interview dubbed “2020/2021 Computerized School Selection and Placement System” on UTV, the Director-General of Education stated that it will be to the disadvantage of teachers if his outfit allowed this issue go unsolved.

It is to be noted that 2021 promotion test is in progress across the country. The test began on Thursday, February 25, 2021 and will come to an end on February 26, 2021.
