NaSIA Backs Reopening Of School Despite COVID-19 Concerns

The National Schools Inspectorate Authority (NaSIA) formerly National Inspectorate Board (NIB) has rallied support for the reopening of schools in Ghana.

The Institution in a Press release sighted by NewsVibz seeks to tell the general public that its outfit is unable to make any exceptions with regards to the new reopening dates of schools.

The document signed by Joyce Dzidie-Tei (Ms.); Manager, Private and International Curricular Schools stated that NaSIA recognize the impact of COVID-19 on schools nationwide.

However, NaSIA says “we are not in normal times”. Hence, they believe there is the need for all schools to strictly abide by the President’s directives following his 21st address to the nation on 3rd January, 2021.

“We kindly expect all schools to comply with the set dates as indicated in His Excellency’s speech”, the document stated.
