I Am HIV Not Negative Says Dancehall Artiste – Shatta Wale
Self acclaimed Dancehall King Shatta Wale has finally revealed his HIV status and debunked rumors that he is carrying the deadly virus.
Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jr., known professionally as Shatta Wale (formerly Bandana), is a Ghanaian singer, songwriter, actor and CEO of Shatta Movement Empire.
He won Artiste of the Year at the 2015 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards for his best known single “Dancehall King“, and has appeared in films such as Never Say Never, The trial of Shatta Wale, and Shattered Lives.
One of Pope Skinny’s numerous allegations against Charles Nii Armah Mensah popularly known as Shatta is, he is HIV positive.
Before that, he alleged Shatta Wale is in a secret society that is why his career is booming.
Pope Skinny in a series of posts said Wale is a staunch NDC member and has been working underground to make Nana Addo’s government look bad.
All these allegations came to life during the recent ‘fight’ between the dancehall act and the SM Militants.
Responding to the claims in an interview with Nana Ama McBrown on United Showbiz on UTV, the award-winning dancehall king said he is HIV negative therefore fans should disregard reports he is positive.
