GES Opens Recruitment For 2017-2018 CoE Year Group
The Ghana Education Service (GES) is a government agency under the Ministry of Education responsible for implementing government policies that ensure that Ghanaians of school-going age irrespective of their tribe, gender, disability, religious and political dispositions receive quality formal education.
The Ghana Education Service is governed by a fifteen-member council called the GES council. The agency was established in 1974 by the National Redemption Council. It partners with organisations and is demarcated into various units to ensure the effective execution of its mandate.
The Ghana Education Service (GES) is requesting for applications from Trained Teachers who completed College of Education (CoE) in 2017 and 2018.
Only those who were not qualified for recruitment by the GES at the time of the exercise but have since subsequently qualified to be recruited are to apply.
Applicants MUST meet the following criteria for consideration:
- Completed College of Education in 2017 or 2018, and have no outstanding/ referral paper.
- Completed the mandatory National Service
- Passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Exams
- Available to work where your services are needed
Interested applicants should access the GES official web portal (www.gespromotions.gov.gh), complete an application form and attach valid certificates on or before August 25, 2020.
Note: This recruitment is strictly for applicants who completed College of Education (CoE) in 2017 or 2018 ONLY.
