School Placement To Be Released Today

The Director-General of Ghana Education Service (GES), Prof. Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa in an interview monitored by NewsVibz has stated that school placement for candidates who sat for last year’s BECE will be released on February 28, 2021.

In a press statement by GES, they associated the postponement and constant delay of the school placement for these students to the surge in the Novel Corona Virus cases recorded in the country.

However, in an interview today, Prof. Kwasi-Opoku Amankwa has given assurance that his outfit is working assiduously to meet the timeline he has given.

Already, a call centre has been set up for candidates yet to be placed in the various Senior High School (SHS) across the country to assist them with any questions and challenges they might encounter during their placement.

It is to be noted that the Ghana Education Service has postponed the release of the school placement twice and that has raised eye-brows already as to whether what the Director-General of Education said today will materialize.
