2020 GES Graduate Posting To Be Released Before Jan. 12 – FAKE
2020 GES Graduate Posting
The Ghana Education Service (GES) has said that the general public should disregard the document which states that the 2020 GES Graduate Posting will be released before January 12, 2021.
The said document available to NewsVibz stated that the management of GES apologizes to the general public, especially graduates who applied to be recruited in 2020 as it regrets the inability to publish the list of recruited staff who graduated from the various Universities.
According to the document which is even dated “Jan. 6, 2020″ and signed by Cassandra Twum Ampofo; Head, Public Relations Unit, the inability of GES to publish the list of shortlisted applicants is due to the massive number of graduates who applied at the time the portal was opened.
It is to be noted that the Minister for Education and Member of Parliament for Manhyia South; Dr. Mathew Opoku Prempeh had indeed said in an interview that 113,000 Graduates applied for recruitment within the first week of opening of the GES recruitment portal.
According to the service, it will employ the services of only 6,500 graduates who will be posted to the various second cycle institutions to teach.
“It is the desire of the Service to strictly post recruited staff to fill specific vacancies as declared at the schools from the various Districts”, the fake document stated.
Further, GES in the supposed document assured graduates that every effort is being made to make sure the postings of shortlisted applicants are released before “Tuesday 12h January, 2020″.
“Any inconvenience caused by the delay in the release of postings is deeply regretted”, the statement reiterated.
It is in view of this that the Ghana Education Service (GES) has released a communique explicitly telling the general public to disregard the said document. Find the document in question below;
